Salem Saeed Al Rumaithi

Mr. Salem Saeed Al Rumaithi is currently the Executive Director of Technical Affairs Sector with practical experience of more than twenty years in the technical and administration field in government sector.

Mr. Al Rumaithi commenced his career at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC” in 1990. He joined Abu Dhabi Department of Finance after eight years of experience in oil industries. Since that time, Mr. Al Rumaithi has held several positions beginning with Information Technology Management where he participated in the development of the Department of Finance Strategic Plan. He also worked to implement partnership policies with the private sector in order to enhance methods of work to reach global best practices. This was manifested through Department of Finance rewards of the ISO (20000 - 27000).

Mr. Al Rumaithi Was then nominated to manage the Regional Office of Capacity Building "ROCB" which follows the World Customs Organization. Mr. Salem Saeed Al Rumaithi as Executive Director of Technical Affairs Sector, a position he holds now. Mr. Al Rumaithi presents Abu Dhabi Customs in most of the World Customs Organization meetings. He also oversees the Customs Modernization plan to fit the objectives of national development.

Siim Sikkut

Hamad Al Mehyas

Chief Process Officer, National Health Insurance Company - Daman

Mr. Hamad Al Mehyas is Daman’s Chief Process Officer. He is responsible for the company’s operational processes including medical claims management, after-sales operations, the company’s 24-hours Customer Care Centre in addition to relevant special projects. Mr. Al Mehyas is considered one of the first UAE Nationals specialising in forensic medicine; a field in which he received the Government Excellence Award for an Innovative Initiative. He held a number of senior roles in federal and local Government entities and worked on a GCC and regional levels. He has also represented the UAE in a number of international organisations. During his career he led number of nation-wide initiatives, most notably heading the Office of UAE National Biosecurity Committee. Dr. Jamal N. Al-Karaki

Dr. Jamal Al-Karaki is an accomplished Information security and technology expert with 15+ years of versatile IT experience and expertise in corporate systems and network security architecture and management along with IT projects management, network and IT infrastructure design and implementation, and change management throughout the project life cycle in public and private sectors. He has also been working with various governments helping them identifying their security needs concerning sensitive assets and national manpower.

He actively participates in all major security events regularly. in 2012, He joined Abu Dhabi Polytechnic to establish the Information Security Engineering Technology department where he currently mentors national Emirati youth in this vital field.

Dr. Al-Karaki is the Co-Founder and Division Head of information Security Engineering Technology- Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (ADPoly), Abu Dhabi, UAE. Before Joining ADPoly, He served as the Dean of Information Technology College, at the Hashemite University, Zarka – Jordan. Dr. Al-Karaki obtained his Ph.D. from Iowa State University where he was awarded the research excellence award on his pioneering work on wireless ad hoc networks.

His main research interests include all aspects of Network Computing including wireless networking and mobile computing with special emphasis on wireless LANs, Mobile Ad hoc Networks, and Wireless Sensor Networks. Hoda A. Alkhzaimi

Hoda A.Alkhzaimi is currently a research assistant professor in New York University and the Director of Center of Cyber Security in NewYork University AD. She served in different posts for research and development in Cyber Security and Cryptology for the past years. She headed the Department of Research and Development for Cyber Security and Cryptology in different national initiatives in the United Arab Emirates along with her associations to different security initiatives nationally and internationally.

Hoda A. Alkhzaimi obtained her PhD in Cryptanalysis from Denmark Technical University. Dr Noura Al Dhaheri is the General Manager of Maqta Gateway LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports. Established to provide smart and innovative solutions enabling trade and transforming port communities, Maqta Gateway is the developer and operator of the first purpose-built Port Community System (PCS) in the UAE. Designed in line with international standards, Maqta PCS acts as a single window, providing digital trade services for all port stakeholders and ports customers.
Dr Al Dhaheri has assumed leadership of Maqta Gateway PCS Project from its inception in 2014. Since then, she has activated the development of the PCS system and led its transition from an implementation program to a fully operational company, and is now spearheading its market expansion.
Dr Al Dhaheri has helped usher in a seamless transition into a totally digitalized way of conducting trade, creating a bridge between data and the port’s business operations, while aligning with the Abu Dhabi 2030 economic vision of optimizing port processes.
